When Lucas was 2 he discovered that he has nipples. Unsure of what they were or why they were there, he became quite upset by their presence. He assumed they were boo boos and demanded I put band aids on them. I tried several different ways to convince him that they were just nipples, not "Owies" and that they did not require any first aid. He was insistent and persistent. So I gave in and allowed him to put band aids on his nipples for a few months before he either realized they are ok or he forgot about them.
There has been no mention of his nipples since.
